{"id":130,"date":"2024-10-01T17:18:34","date_gmt":"2024-10-01T08:18:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/moonshot.r.chuo-u.ac.jp\/kunii\/en\/?post_type=research&#038;p=130"},"modified":"2026-03-09T14:15:00","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T05:15:00","slug":"3-3","status":"publish","type":"research","link":"https:\/\/moonshot.r.chuo-u.ac.jp\/kunii\/en\/research\/3-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Designing and implementing small RT surface movement mechanisms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We will conduct R&#038;D into surface movement mechanisms that can be equipped in small robots that will operate over the rough terrain expected in lunar lava tubes, taking into account the perspective of terramechanics, power consumption, the volume and weight taken up by the mechanisms, and other factors.<\/p>\n<p>We will implement this in small robots, and conduct R&#038;D on methods for the storage and deployment of the robots into and out of containers as cooperative swarms.
