Moonshot Goal 3: The evolution of AI and robots will lead to the realization of robots that autonomously learn and act, and coexist with human beings by 2050

To achieve this goal, various research organizations are conducting R&D into all kinds of robots. Research is underway into a wide range of robots, such as nursing care robots that work to make up for labor shortages caused by population decline, dwindling birthrates and aging, and robots that can work by acting autonomously and making decisions in environments that are difficult for people to enter.

These include cockroach-like robots used in swarm intelligence research… (Of course, I can’t look at them directly.)

And for our project, we aim to send swarms of small robots to the moon to explore and settle lunar lava tubes. This is the kind of project one dreams and romanticizes about!

A future of coexistence with robots… What kind of world will we end up with? In 2050, I hope to see these robots with my own eyes.
