This moonshot project will expand on the results of the next-generation unexplored peak exploration method, which was jointly researched by Chuo University, Takenaka Corporation, and JAXA as part of the JAXA/JST Exploration Innovation Hub Project, with the aim of game-changing future lunar and planetary exploration technology, and aims to explore lava tubes and build future cities.
The network intelligence will repeat self-division (replication) according to the environment and work conditions, and will perform work assignment and organization of robots assigned to it in each part of the tube. The system will expand its living space to difficult environments and develop frontiers by building a multi-robot system equipped with a self-developing, learning AI that evolves and grows independently to achieve its objectives while generating local differences.
